John L. Golden PTA / Membership

You can help our school maintain our status as the number one PTA in the district by becoming a member of the John L. Golden Elementary PTA today! Our membership has been on a steady increase over the last few years. We would love to meet our goal of 100% PTA membership for the this school year! PTA is part of the fabric of the United States’ public-education system and a trusted partner to millions of parents, families, educators and community members, as it advocates for education, welfare, health and safety of all children. PTA has been instrumental in establishing programs and services to improve children’s lives. Membership dues are $10 per membership. A portion of your dues goes to support programs that are provided by the PTA such as the AR Program, the Buddy Program and Teacher & Staff Appreciation. We also support Square One Art, Amazon Smile, Yearbook, Spirit wear and so much more. You don’t have to come to the meetings and volunteer to be a PTA member.

With your PTA membership:

You show your children that school matters, and that you are invested in their success.
You demonstrate to your child that success in school is the pathway to college, a career and a productive life!
You partner with the principal, teachers and staff to make your child’s school safe, welcoming, a hub of learning, and a fun place to be.
You share in campus events and experiences that make your child’s school days more memorable!
You connect with other parents, and become part California State PTA and National PTA, the largest and most powerful children’s advocacy organization in the country.
You help make sure parents and family members voices are heard when important decisions that affect your school are made.
